2024 National Championships

The Tai Chi students from the Calgary Tai Chi and Martial Arts College excelled at the National Wushu Championships. One student earned a place on the Canadian Tai Chi team and later competed in the Tai Chi championships, where they achieved 5th place in Tajishan and 4th in Tajijian.

Next up is the Pan American Championships, taking place on August 30th in San Francisco. Five athletes from the college will compete, representing their training and skill on an international stage.

The athletes from the Calgary Tai Chi and Martial Arts College showcased outstanding talent at the Canadian National Wushu Championship, winning an impressive 13 gold, 15 silver, and 9 bronze medals. Among them, Virginia Cai achieved the remarkable feat of securing a spot on the Canadian Junior National team, ranking first in Canada. Their dedication and months of rigorous training paid off with these prestigious accomplishments. In late September, Virginia Cai will represent the team and compete in Brunei.
